Welcome
Welcome to the Middle Corridor Business Council (MCBC), a dynamic platform dedicated to fostering trade, investment, and economic growth along the Middle Corridor. As a membership-based non-commercial organization established under Georgian law, we connect businesses, stakeholders, and governments to unlock opportunities in cross-border cooperation and regional development. Join us in building stronger partnerships for a prosperous future.
MCBC serves as a hub for promoting economic ties in the region, facilitating networking, advocacy, and collaborative initiatives. We are authorized to engage in auxiliary entrepreneurial activities, but all profits are reinvested solely into achieving our non-commercial goals—such as research, events, and advisory services. Our governance ensures transparency and member involvement, with decisions guided by our Charter to support sustainable development without distributing profits to founders or members.
Governance
MCBC is governed by a structured system ensuring accountability and member-driven decisions:
General Meeting of Members: The supreme body, held annually (or extraordinarily as needed), with competence over Charter amendments, Council elections, reorganization, and key guidance.
Council: Manages operations between meetings, handling property, memberships, fees, and appointments. Meets at least quarterly.
Chairman of the Council: Serves as the authorized manager and representative, appointed for up to three years, overseeing daily activities, transactions, and annual reporting.
All bodies operate with quorum requirements (over half attendance) and majority voting, promoting transparency and fairness.
